Ramona planned a small birthday party for me that was a board game night. I had received some new games for Christmas from my brother and hadn’t had a chance to try them out yet. We had 8 people over, goat cheese, smoked Gouda and Manchego as well as a chocolate cake that Ramona made. The food was excellent! We broke into groups and played different games. I really wanted to play my new game called Ad Astra. Unfortunately it took a while to explain and for us to figure out. On top of it we played slowly so by the time we finished that one game, everyone else had played at least two other games and the party was over. I really enjoyed my new game though and enjoyed having everyone over to our house even though I really only saw the three other guys who played Ad Astra with me.
